NESS is the new wave of Austrian pop, whose real name is Vanessa Dulhofer. She was born in 2004 in Traiskirchen and made her first appearance at the age of 16 on an Austrian talent show, finishing third—before writing honest lyricism about feelings and emotion. In 2023, she came to broad public attention through her feature with SDP on the remix of “Ich will nur, dass du weißt”; a version that went viral and accumulated millions of streams.
